Why this course exists
Casting breakdowns regularly ask for movement, gymnastics and action skills, and Spotlight lets casting directors filter by them. But there’s a bigger truth: there’s a difference between being in the action and carrying it. The actors who lead action franchises, Pugh, Wright, Holland, trained for it. And if you’ve ever watched a fight sequence and thought I want to be able to do that, this is where you learn. No acrobatic experience needed. Dancers and athletes, you’re already halfway there.
This twelve-week programme with Over Gravity Gymnastics builds that physical vocabulary properly, safely, and to a standard you can honestly claim.

Action Skills
The moves you see in every fight sequence and action reel. Kip-ups, butterfly kicks, aerials, flying kicks and dynamic combinations. These are the skills stunt coordinators look for when deciding whether an actor can carry their own action or needs a double for everything. Every skill you own yourself is a scene that doesn’t get handed to someone else.
Parkour and Freerunning
Wall Tricks
