OG KIDS

GYMNASTIC CLASSES

Kids’ Gymnastics, Reimagined.

Flips, tricks and confidence—without the pressure of competition.

OG Kids offers fun, progressive gymnastics classes where children learn tumbling, handstands and acrobatic skills through safe, structured coaching. Every class helps build strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, skills and discipline.

SOFT PLAY - PARENT & CHILD

Coming in September

A relaxed soft play session designed especially for parents with toddlers and young children.

Children can explore, climb, crawl and play using our soft equipment while parents stay with them throughout the session. It’s a fun way for little ones to move, build confidence and enjoy the gym environment at their own pace.

These sessions are fully supervised by parents or accompanying adults, not by OverGravity staff. Parents remain responsible for their child’s safety and supervision at all times during the session.

We’re currently preparing to launch Soft Play – Parent & Child sessions at OverGravity.

Register your interest below and we’ll contact you as soon as sessions are ready to book.

  • 29 August

An action-packed gymnastics camp designed especially for teenagers!

Participants will learn and develop a variety of forward and backward flips, while exploring exciting connections and combinations. Each teenager will work at their own level, building confidence, technique and control in a fun and supportive environment.

Suitable for all abilities, with progressions adapted to each participant’s experience.

We are excited to be adding new advanced classes for both OG Teens and OG Teenies, creating even more opportunities for children who are ready to take their gymnastics to the next level.

Discipline Comes First

The number one requirement for moving into an advanced class is discipline.
Advanced training requires focus, good listening, safe behaviour and a
positive attitude towards coaching and corrections.

OG Teens Advanced

  • A good round-off
  • A front tuck off the trampoline
  • A backward skill off the trampoline, such as a back tuck or back
    handspring
  • Spotted or unspotted round off back tuck or round off back handspring

Teenies Advanced

  • A round-off
  • A walkover, either forwards or backwards
  • Or a front handspring

These classes are designed for students who already have a strong foundation and are ready to train with a more focused group working at a similar level.

New students will be assessed either by video or during a trial lesson, so we can guide them towards the most suitable class for their level, confidence and development.

Current students may also be rearranged into the most appropriate group when the new term starts. This is a positive step to help every child
progress in the right environment.

At OverGravity Gymnastics, we believe movement is for everyone. We’re passionate about creating a space where children can grow in confidence, build strength, and have fun through gymnastics. That includes children with additional needs, who often benefit hugely from tailored physical activity.

We know that many parents and carers are looking for opportunities for their children with special needs to join in—and rightly so. Gymnastics can be a joyful and empowering experience, and all children deserve the chance to thrive in an environment that supports them.

At present, our club is not yet equipped to offer dedicated classes for children with disabilities or additional support needs. This is not a decision we take lightly. We understand that children who are differently abled often need a different approach—one that includes specialist equipment, adapted lesson plans, and experienced coaches trained in inclusive practice. To provide the quality of care and support that these children deserve, we must first build the right foundations.

We are actively working behind the scenes to develop inclusive programmes that will allow us to welcome children with a wider range of needs in the near future. This is a priority for us, and we’re committed to taking the time to do it right—with thought, care, and input from families and professionals in the field.

In the Meantime — Where You Can Look

While we aren’t yet able to offer specialist classes, we’ve compiled a small directory of other local resources and clubs that may currently provide gymnastics opportunities for children with disabilities:

Please note that we are not directly affiliated with these clubs, but we hope this list helps you in your search.

If you’d like to speak to us about your child’s specific needs, or if you’d like to be notified when our inclusive programmes launch, we’d love to hear from you.

Together, we can keep working toward a world where every child, of every ability, has the opportunity to move, play, and shine.
